Today, cancer disease is a significant reason for the death of many patients. In cases, diagnosed after metastasized during body. Thus, earlier detection gives better opportunity treatment and cure. A simple 1-D binary photonic crystal with defect layer proposed structure (Si/SiO2)N/Defect/(Si/SiO2)N as detector cancerous cells. The taken here patient's blood sample. Compared normal sample, samples lead to considerable change in refractive index. This index variation leads shift resonant mode position which can be used diagnose transfer matrix method employed analyze structure. number periods, thickness incident angle are investigated maximize sensitivity. sensitivity calculated at optimized conditions found 2400.08 nm/RIU. extremely high when compared most recent biosensors. All sensor performance parameters discussed.
